Resumen

Se ofrece una retrospectiva sobre la fundación, desarrollo exitoso, estancamiento y el
actualmente  imprescindible  renacimiento  de  la  actividad  de  prospectiva  científicotecnológica  en  la  Revolución  Cubana,  de  cara  a  la  omnipresente  estrategia  de
construcción  socialista,  el  desarrollo  sostenible  y  la  sinergizante  “necesidad  y
posibilidad”  de  integración  latinoamericana  y  caribeña.  Se  exponen  aspectos
científicos,  metodológicos,  organizativos,  los  problemas  de  creatividad,  logros  y
obstáculos inherentes a toda obra humana revolucionaria, perfectibles a futuro.

Abstract
A retrospective about the foundation, successful development, stagnancy, and
the    actually essential rebirth of scientific & technological forecasting during the Cuban
Revolution  in  face  to  the  ever  present  strategy  on  socialist  construction,  sustainable
development and synergy full “need and possibility” of Latin-American and Caribbean
integration  is  offered.  Scientific,  methodological  and  organizing  aspects,  creativity
problems,  achievements  and  obstacles  inherent  to  each  revolutionary  human  work,
forwards ever perfectible, are exposed.
