AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE: DESEMPEÑO ECONÓMICO Y SOCIAL RECIENTE Y PERSPECTIVAS PARA 2015

Resumen

El presente artículo realiza un análisis de la evolución económica y social de los países de América Latina y el Caribe en el año 2014, y resume algunos elementos del probable desempeño a futuro de la región, teniendo en cuenta las modificaciones que se han producido en el entorno económico internacional en meses recientes, y los obstáculos estructurales e institucionales que todavía limitan el crecimiento con sostenibilidad e inclusión social en Latinoamérica y el Caribe.

Abstract
This article analyses the Latin American and Caribbean’s economic and social dynamic during 2014, and it synthetizes some elements about the future development in our region. For that purpose, the author takes into account recent changes in international economic environment and the structural and institutional obstacles which undermine the sustained economic growth with social inclusion in Latin American and Caribbean nations.
